Google invests in wind energy

From Google has been known for some time that the search giant from California interested not only in the further development of its Internet empire, has put out feelers but also in completely different parts of the economy, industry and research.

According to past investments in solar energy and geothermal energy, Google now also has an eye cast to the wind.

With the equivalent of 29.4 million euros, the company is now involved in two wind farms. The wind farms, which are located in North Dakot, an area with very high wind output should have a capacity of 169.5 megawatts can power about 55,000 homes.

The investment should not be entirely altruistic. It fits very well with Google’s “been good” image, for example if the huge energy needs of its own data centers in the future would be largely powered by alternative energy sources.
Although the summer months are upon our london branch we had to get someone in to conduct an aga rayburn servicing london to make sure we werent going to be left without hot water and heating at any time! Fortunately the servicing is relatively straightforward for an aga rayburn and the guys were able to come out in one visit and leave giving us the all clear for another 12 months.
